Replacement of an aging UPS system with a 2N, fully redundant UPS system.  In addition to full electrical design and oversite of other design disciplines, Touchstone Engineers led onsite commissioning and assisted with critical load cutovers.  New equipment included two Eaton 1.5MW UPS systems with Li-ion batteries, switchgear with RELT controls, Gracepoint hot spot monitoring, Eaton load monitoring, Asco swing ATSs, Data Aire CRAH units with air-side economizing and interface of all new equipment to an existing BMS.  Unique Eaton UPS features tested included ECT (loading without load banks) and ESS and VMMS energy efficiency modes.  A 1.5MW load bank was also temporarily connected.  Existing equipment partially re-commissioned included two 5,000A utility switchgear services, Asco 10,000A parallel generator switchgear, Asco ATSs and three Caterpillar 2MW generators.  An earlier project included commissioning a 4th module addition to a Liebert 2.4MW UPS system.
